GUAYNAA RELEASED “FÚTBOL A LA GENTE” FT. LOS ÁNGELES AZULES. THE OFFICIAL MUSICAL ANTHEM FOR “SUMMER OF CHAMPIONS” ON TUDN USA AND TUDN MEXICO
“I have been a fútbol fan my whole life, and I was very excited when TUDN asked us to make a new version of my song for its soccer coverage this summer. I can’t wait for everyone to enjoy this upbeat song featuring my friends, Mexican legends, Los Ángeles Azules,” said Guaynaa.
TUDN’s “Summer of Champions” unprecedented coverage features more than 120 soccer matches in 90 days, including the Euro 2020, Copa América 2021, CONCACAF Gold Cup, among other elite tournaments.
The anthem, written by Guaynaa with musical arrangements by Los Ángeles Azules, leverages Cumbia’s resurgence and its broader appeal to Hispanic audiences. “Fútbol a la gente” will stream during the summer on Uforia radio stations across the country. The song will also be the official “Summer of Champions” anthem for TUDN in Mexico.
The video for “Fútbol a la gente,” features Guaynaa, Los Ángeles Azules, and TUDN’s acclaimed roster of sportscasters on social, digital platforms, and linear networks.

Guaynna performed a medley of his hit songs during the TIKTOK LATAM MUSIC FESTIVAL #SUENAENTIKTOK. The exclusive performance included “Se Te Nota,” “Chica Ideal,” “Monterrey” and “Cumbia a la gente.”

Jean Carlos Santigo Perez, better known as GUAYNAA, was born in Caguas Puerto Rico. In 2017, after the tragic devastation of Hurricane Maria, Guaynaa released a song titled “Maria” that went viral on all social platforms, where he expressed his anger and frustration at the situation. He went on to release “Rebota” which became a massive success, and the remix featuring Sech, Becky G, Farruko and Nicky Jam landed him on the Billboard Top 10 Chart. In 2020, he received his first Latin Grammy nomination, in the category “Best Reggaeton Performance” for the song “Chicharrón” feat Cauty. In recent months Guaynaa captivated fans across the globe with his single “Se Te Nota,” alongside Lele Pons, which garnered more than 272 million views on its video. He also released a collaboration with Sebastian Yatra, “Chica Ideal,” who’s video accumulated over 134 million views and has an upcoming collaboration with K-POP sensation Chungha. Last month he released his single and video for “Monterrey” which paid homage to Monterrey, Mexico, and his newest single and video “Cumbia a La Gente” is out now.
